SBM GoldenLens 2011

The 1st SBM International Golden Lens Documentary Film Festival 2011 was tremendously successful proven by over 100 entries

and with over 1000 people attending the 4 (four) day festival.

The entrants’ creativity, production standards and overall high ability in story telling with both educational and entertainment value made the judging process extremely challenging.

Along with the 20 SBM Golden Lens Finalist screenings, Indonesia’s documentary makers and film lovers came to see the best of IDFA –International Documentary Festival Amsterdam.

The Awards Night was intense and exciting for the 5 (five) nominees of the Open Category and 5 (five) nominees for the Student Category which were announced two weeks earlier on Facebook. The two category winners were announced and screened together with Leonards Retel Helmrich’s international award winning, ‘Position Among the Stars’.
